Modeselektor
Take a stress pill, and think things over.
Submitted by dr™ on April 6, 2009 - 10:35pm.Even Music Non-Stop robots like us, who seemingly never tire, have to unplug and recharge ye olde batteries from tyme to tyme. There's only so much dance-orientated music one can handle before the need to slow the BPMs down becomes apparent. True, it's great listening to bangers while you race to and from work or when you're out on the town, but you can't keep up the pace indefinitely. Sometimes it's necessary to just CTFD. Luckily, a co-conspirator from across the pond has provided just such the antidote for decompressing from some of the stress of modern life.
From Waxadelica, a longtime cyber-friend who knows how to compile the right soundtrack to net-surfing, long bus trips, or even better, chillaxing out by the pool with a few cold ones.

Berlin's Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary aka Modeselektor first teamed up in 1996 and have been putting out their own brand of glitched-up "dreck" electro since 2001 on Ellen Allien's Bpitch Control label.
