Science Lab - Flesh & Blood

Posted a new "video" tonight - an old rave classic that's celebrating its 20th birthday this year. This post-New Beat Acid track from the Lords of Acid crew is sure to bring you back to the warehouses, strobes and whistles.

Enjoy!

Synth NRG

Looks like I'm too lazy to post anything except for these lil' mini mixes. This one was made for VodkaEd as part of our weekly 5-track trade. Usually, I don't mix mine together, opting instead for finding songs on the interwebs; this time I stuck to my collection, grabbed a few tracks and kept them continuous, though I let each song play through for the most part. I don't think there's an overriding theme - it's a random grab bag. It is suited for VodkaEd though as it's probably one of the only mixes out there that has Throbbing Gristle mix into The Flirts (and Ed is infamous for his extreme musical juxtapositions).

Trax>>>
1 Science Lab - Flesh and Blood (Atmo Mix)
2 Photocall - Silver Clouds (Hot Mix)
3 Throbbing Gristle - United (Two Lone Swordsmen Vocal Mix)
4 The Flirts - Calling All Boys
5 Phaex - Talk About

Random Robot Selecta #5

Sorry for the long delay. I'll try not to let it happen again.

Time to bring back our Random Robot Selecta which I'll attempt to make a regular feature moving forward. From the ever-prolific Uwe Schmidt (aka Atom Heart, Lassigue Bendthaus, Señor Coconut, etc.), this nearly 20-year old track is the only release he made under the Slot moniker. The first release on early 90s Frankfurt label, Cyclotron (also home to several Hypnotist releases), we get a nice bit of bleep techno very much in line with what GTO (as Tricky Disco) were doing at the time. Enjoy, and DANCE!
